Hi, it’s Monica Matteo-Salinas, candidate for Miami Beach Commission. 

That's me with my two boys in front of their former elementary school. It seems like just yesterday I was walking them to school, and this week they'll both be attending Miami Beach Senior High. (Let's go High Tides!)

I’ve raised my two boys in Miami Beach and I hope someday to raise my grandchildren here. Miami Beach needs to remain a safe, charming, welcoming community - while reducing the overdevelopment, traffic and crime. 

This is why I'm running - our Miami Beach legacy is so important.

As a PTSA mom serving in our Miami Beach schools for the past 8 years, I have proven leadership experience - listening to concerns and finding solutions to make things better. I listen and I help - that’s just what I do. 

I’m working hard on this campaign so I can work hard for you once I get elected in November.
